Animal colours : Brown predominant Birds [ rules below, dont make me DQ you for the sake of a few moments to read the rules ]

Challenge is announced but not yet accepting submissions

Next in the animal colours set, lets see your best shots of any species of bird whose feathers are predominantly brown [ other colours/markings are fine but there must be clearly more brown than other colours *within shot*, , if the balance is too far from brown predominant I will DQ ;) ]. If unsure please ask ;)

Sunday, 19th June, 2011 ? Saturday, 25th June, 2011 (GMT)

Voting:

Sunday, 26th June, 2011 ? Saturday, 2nd July, 2011 (GMT)

Processing rules:

  • FULL COLOUR ONLY
  • No special effects.
  • Borders/frames are ok for this challenge.
  • HDR IS allowed in this challenge
  • Basic processing, and cloning out of distractions, is allowed.
  • No watermarks or any other identifying marks/text
  • No reference to the entrant`s ID in title or any other text option

Additional rules:

  • No images depicting animal abuse, suffering or death [ nor potential injury or death ], of any animal including fish.
  • People or other animals can be in view but the predominantly brown bird must be the primary subject.
  • Entries which do not adhere to the rules as written will be DQ`d
  • VOTERS :
  • 0.5s should only be given on images of poor quality or for being outside the rules [ if I miss DQing any ].
  • If giving any 0.5s, reasons should be given, if you give it stand by it.
  • Voting on thumbnail is lazy and disrespectful, entrants deserve to have their images viewed properly.
  • Sandbagging / vote manipulation / spite voting - don`t even think of doing it !
