Douglas Sonders Photography's Facebook Page is a great example of a page done right.
It is impossible to avoid Facebook these days. If you?re not on it, you?re missing out on the now or you may not get invited to your best friend's party. So you have no choice but to be on it. Your mom is on it, your mom?s mom is on it. (OK, just kidding. Maybe she isn?t.) Either way, you get the point.
Facebook is ingrained into our lives whether we like it or not.

And if you?re a public figure, business or service provider you need to have a Facebook Page. Facebook made it easy to quickly create, engage and manage a community all within its platform.
So you created a Facebook Page for your business, band, service or product. Now what?
Before jumping into how to build up your Facebook Page it is important to understand the privilege you have been given when someone likes your page. By liking your page you have been given permission to push your message and content to members of your page. This differs from content and advertisements on TV because those ads are pushed to you whether you like it or not. To keep members of your Facebook Page you want to make sure you?re feeding them content that would appeal to them.
Remember the last time you found something so cool that you wanted to share it with everyone you knew? Well you want to aim for posting content of that caliber on your Facebook Page.

Adding applications is easy, don?t worry you don?t have to be a coder to install one to your Facebook page. For Doug?s page he decided to install a few free apps from Involver to drive engagement on his page as well as the APhotoFolio Facebook application to showcase his photography portfolio.
